Jesus is everything

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6.


Way, Truth, Life.


Jesus promised His disciples that He is going to the Father to prepare a place for them. And He'll come back and take them with Him. In the context, one of His disciples named Thomas asked by saying “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Take note that Jesus is not only saying He is the way but He also said He is the truth and the life. In other words, He provided not just the answer of Thomas but He added an additional information about Himself to his disciplines.

Jesus was simply helping his disciples to understand that as He is the way to the truth and to eternal life. And He is the complete answer to eternity. He is everything. In Him we can find rest for our soul.

The Way.
The is no shortcut to get to heaven. There is only one way and that is through Jesus. We just need to put our trust in Him for He already done the works (death on the cross) for us to inherit an eternal life.

The Truth.
A lot of people seeking where to find a real church, religion or sect. Come to Jesus for He is the only truth. Not in a church, religion or sect. If you have completely surrender our life to Jesus you are in the truth.

The Life.
Spiritual we are all dead due to transgressions. We don't have the direct access to God because He is Holy and Righteous. But through Jesus as the atonement sacrifice for our sins. He provided us the access to the Father. That's by trusting Him as our Lord and Savior. He mediates us to the Father.

What are your New Year's resolution?

I'm pretty sure we have New Year's resolution in our bucket list for the year 2018. We've been accustomed to have one. But are we going to really follow all of them? It's been common for most us to make a list of our New Year's resolution but we cannot deny the fact that we failed to follow them.  In these verses below, Paul explained the reason why we all fail.   “There is no one righteous, not even one;  there is no one who understands;  there is no one who seeks God.  All have turned away, they have together become worthless;  there is no one who does good,not even one.”  Romans 3:10-12. The Son of Man

John 5: 27   And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.   Here we see Jesus relationship with the Father. How intimate it is that the Father gave him the authority to judge.  But what does "Son of Man" mean? This does not mean that Jesus was son of Joseph the husband of Mary who conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
