Christmas is LIFE!

John 5: 26

26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.

One week more to go for Christmas. I'm pretty sure all are excited celebrating holidays with with loved ones. But don't you know that Christmas is about life?

As God gave His only Son so everyone who believes will have eternal life (Jn 3:16). This would tell that God is a life giver. As He himself has life.  Can you give your life to others this Christmas? Not necessarily a material thing but perhaps a short period of time by spending or even sharing your life to other people would be a greatest gift you can give.

And if you have ever wondered where the life come from. It's from God.  For God himself is life. Therefore, He is the source and the author of life.

It's gonna be 2018 next year. It's gonna be another year to add to our age. Another life to thank God that He remains faithful to us.

Friends, as we celebrate a Christmas holiday with our loved ones. Let's not forget that Jesus is always the reason of our celebration. Let's continue to be thankful of His grace. For without Him we are completely nothing.

He is the author of our life! Merry Christmas in Christ love everyone!

The Son of Man

John 5: 27   And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.   Here we see Jesus relationship with the Father. How intimate it is that the Father gave him the authority to judge.  But what does "Son of Man" mean? This does not mean that Jesus was son of Joseph the husband of Mary who conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Let's read the book of   Daniel 7: 13-14  to help us understand why Jesus has this title being the "Son of Man". 13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. Jesus was obviously fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel when he said in...

The Road.

John 5:23 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.  Jesus statement became more not acceptable to the ears of Jewish leaders this time. Notice, He said "all may honor the Son". Not some. Therefore each and everyone must give honor to Him.  John in his little book in First John make it more dangerous. He used the word "deny" which has the same verb meaning with  disagree, renounce, decline even refuse or reject.  1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:  (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also . (KJV). But you see, how God gives us the chance? Both Jesus and John didn't stop there. They still gives options that those who honors and acknowledges the Son does the same to the Father. There is no bypass at all. Must go through Jesus always.  Let's back up a little of what John has said "whoe...

Who are the Pharisees?

John 5: 16-18 16   So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him.  17   In his defense Jesus said to them,  “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”   18   For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.  It's amazing to know that God has always and would not stop working in my life. As I still have things in life that I need God's mercy to change and mold me. In spite of being not perfect, yet I have a perfect and loving God who always there for me. Lift me up in times of down and sad moments. Every single day, God through His word speaks to me and with His Holy Spirit who convicts and leads me to obey His word. I can't go on serving Him without His grace.  The powerful response of Jesus in verse 17 destructed ...
