It's Time for Harvest.

If you love to travel to different places and found out that there is a promo for an airplane fare? What's your immediate response. Would you grab it now or later?

John 4:27-42

Here is a story of a Samaritan woman who immediately went home
without hesitation. And share Jesus to the people at her home town.

27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”
28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,
29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”
30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

The Samaritan woman didn't wait until the next hour. She then went home immediately and shared Jesus to the people in their community. I guess with too much excitement, she even left her water jar so she can share Jesus to her friends and loved ones. As a first timer of meeting Jesus, the woman didn't care of the earthly things and left it behind away to spread out the she met the Messiah called "Christ".

What do you have in life that prevent us of sharing Jesus to the people around you? Left it behind and go out and spread the love of Jesus and tell them to have faith in Him as their Savior and Lord.

31 Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”
32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”
33 Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”
34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.

While the woman was still at her place in Samaria. Let's go back to Jesus disciples as they already arrived. They offered Jesus something to eat. Well, it's good to be hospitable but surprisingly Jesus response was quiet odd that didn't understand. The food that Jesus wants is more important that why they've offered.
A spiritual food which an obedient to the will of the Father and finish his work.

What's our priority?

What's more important to us? Is it the earthly things that won't last or the heavenly things that will last forever. To where we mostly invest our time? to the things in this world or to the things above which is more rewarding? Jesus was so and more concerned of the lost souls than any material things. Because if they don't hear the  gospel of salvation they wouldn't know they need Him as their Lord and savior. And their life will end up to the eternal destruction of their souls.

Jesus was telling His disciples to take the opportunity to reach out those who are lost. He compared them like the fields that are already ripe for harvest. In other words, it's the right time to go out and share good news about Him as the Savior of the world. The Messiah that the people of Israel has been waiting for. Share Jesus to the people around you now. Not later, not tomorrow but today.

36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.
37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true.
38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”

Just like the Samaritan woman, after she heard Jesus telling her "I, the one speaking to you—I am he.” John 4:26:) She then returned to her community and shared Jesus to the people.

The Goal.

The overall goal of sharing Jesus around you is for them to have eternal if they believe. If they don't, don't force the issue. Not your fault. It's not you that will go to Hell but it's them. Besides It's the Father that draws people to His Son Jesus as mentioned in John 6:44.You don't have to be a degree holder , master or a doctorate degree in Theology. You just need to have willing heart to share the gospel. Like the woman who eagerly went home and share Jesus to her friends.

39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.”
40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days.
41 And because of his words many more became believers.
42 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

Look what happened because of one Samaritan who even didn't mind leaving her jar just to went home immediately and share Jesus. She probably was so thirsty that time but she didn't mind it. She was just so excited and spread the news about Messiah that they've waiting for.
She never setup a crusade or something that can attract the people in her community. She just purely shared Jesus to them. And see, more people believed in Jesus because of her.

Share Jesus now. Not later, nor tomorrow. Do it now. Why wait for tomorrow if you can do it today?

The Life We Ought To Be.

If there is one thing that you love most in you life, what is it? John 5:13-15 The verses below was about the invalid man for 38-years  whom Jesus healed. It was Jesus who offered the healing for him.  13 The man who was healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there. 14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” 15 The man went away and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well. In all the things in the world. It was the "sin" that Jesus was telling him to stop. Jesus said to him "... Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” Does it mean he's gonna be invalid or disable again? I don't think so. This means that sin in our lives does not have a good result. Jesus was telling him that if he keeps on sinning it's going to ruin his spiritual life. See friends, Jesus was not only helpin...

Christmas is LIFE!

John 5: 26 26   For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.   One week more to go for Christmas. I'm pretty sure all are excited celebrating holidays with with loved ones. But don't you know that Christmas is about life?  As God gave His only Son so everyone who believes will have eternal life (Jn 3:16). This would tell that God is a life giver. As He himself has life.  Can you give your life to others this Christmas? Not necessarily a material thing but perhaps a short period of time by spending or even sharing your life to other people would be a greatest gift you can give. And if you have  ever wondered where the life come from. It's from God.  For God himself is life. Therefore, He is the source and the author of life. It's gonna be 2018 next year. It's gonna be another year to add to our age. Another life to thank God that He remains faithful to us. Friends, as ...

What are your New Year's resolution?

I'm pretty sure we have New Year's resolution in our bucket list for the year 2018. We've been accustomed to have one. But are we going to really follow all of them? It's been common for most us to make a list of our New Year's resolution but we cannot deny the fact that we failed to follow them.  In these verses below, Paul explained the reason why we all fail.   “There is no one righteous, not even one;  there is no one who understands;  there is no one who seeks God.  All have turned away, they have together become worthless;  there is no one who does good, not even one.”  Romans 3:10-12. These verses simply means regardless of what religion you have or you belongs to. You are dead in the eyes of God. There are no exceptions.  Now, since there is no one is righteous that means no one can see God. That's why Christ died for our sins so we'll have access to God through Him. He is only perfect man who is God by nature who...
