He heals, in His will.

Is there something in your lives that you've been asking to God. But until now you didn't get it? Let's read a story of a dying son of a Royal Officer whom God healed on the spot.

John 4:43-54

43 After the two days he left for Galilee.
44 (Now Jesus himself had pointed out that a prophet has no honor in his own country.)
45When he arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him. They had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, for they also had been there.

God has always a plan. If your own hometown, family members, or friends disowned you. Don't take it as failures. But pray and God will have something better for you that you don't imagine. He has already prepared something where you can do the things He entrusted you to do.

46 Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum.
47 When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death.

If Jesus wouldn't leave for Galilee, He couldn't have meet this royal offer who has a son that is sick and dying. Although we don't know how he heard Jesus would arrived but without hesitation he went to Jesus and begged to heal his dying son.

Remember that he was a royal officer, so he had already consulted with the doctor, yet his son was still dying.

48“Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.”
49 The royal official said, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”
50 “Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.”The man took Jesus at his word and departed.

  • If you noticed, the text doesn't say anything about the royal officer's faith. He was just begging Jesus to heal his dying son.
  • He was neither a follower of Jesus.
  • And where was his son this time? Not with him obviously.

Friends, Jesus heals in His will. It's not about how strong christian we are. It's about Him. As what He said to the royal officer "Your son will live". Meaning it's Him who declared it. If not His will, it's not going to happen. Second, He heals not because he is controlled by our emotion but because again it's His will. Even though the royal officer was begging but the text doesn't say i'ts because of it He heals his son. It's because He said "your son will live". Again it was His will. I'm not saying emotion is bad but always remember God sees our hearts. Yes we can cry and beg God. But always seek His will.

I've been seeing people claiming healing in the name of Jesus. Shouting and yelling using the name of Jesus for healing. Friends, we don't need to do that. Instead we can pray humbly and ask His healing hands and mercy to heal us.

Third, He heals everyone for His grace and mercy is for everyone. He showed no favoritism. Fourth, when He heals distance does not matter. There is no need for you to bring your sick person to a healing crusade or something.

51 While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living.
52 When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “Yesterday, at one in the afternoon, the fever left him.”
53 Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” So he and his whole household believed.

Fifth, Jesus heals in His time not ours. He is not bound of time. It could be immediate, later, tomorrow or even next year or we don't know really when. This time the dying son received an instant healing.

54This was the second sign Jesus performed after coming from Judea to Galilee.

He heals no limit. Not once, not twice but in His time and in His will. Jesus is our Healer. But what if He wouldn't heal you? Would you still believe, trust and serve Him until He comes?

The Life We Ought To Be.

If there is one thing that you love most in you life, what is it? John 5:13-15 The verses below was about the invalid man for 38-years  whom Jesus healed. It was Jesus who offered the healing for him.  13 The man who was healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there. 14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” 15 The man went away and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well. In all the things in the world. It was the "sin" that Jesus was telling him to stop. Jesus said to him "... Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” Does it mean he's gonna be invalid or disable again? I don't think so. This means that sin in our lives does not have a good result. Jesus was telling him that if he keeps on sinning it's going to ruin his spiritual life. See friends, Jesus was not only helpin...

What are your New Year's resolution?

I'm pretty sure we have New Year's resolution in our bucket list for the year 2018. We've been accustomed to have one. But are we going to really follow all of them? It's been common for most us to make a list of our New Year's resolution but we cannot deny the fact that we failed to follow them.  In these verses below, Paul explained the reason why we all fail.   “There is no one righteous, not even one;  there is no one who understands;  there is no one who seeks God.  All have turned away, they have together become worthless;  there is no one who does good, not even one.”  Romans 3:10-12. These verses simply means regardless of what religion you have or you belongs to. You are dead in the eyes of God. There are no exceptions.  Now, since there is no one is righteous that means no one can see God. That's why Christ died for our sins so we'll have access to God through Him. He is only perfect man who is God by nature who...

The Son of Man

John 5: 27   And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.   Here we see Jesus relationship with the Father. How intimate it is that the Father gave him the authority to judge.  But what does "Son of Man" mean? This does not mean that Jesus was son of Joseph the husband of Mary who conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Let's read the book of   Daniel 7: 13-14  to help us understand why Jesus has this title being the "Son of Man". 13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. Jesus was obviously fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel when he said in...
